HOCKEY Challenge – • After the break, schools will begin the “buy in” for the students-this allows a student to pay (1 or 2 dollars) per “ticket”. The ticket enters them into a draw to be chosen to play games at the intermissions of the challenge game to win “swag” (we are accessing local businesses for prizes-tshirts, water bottles etc)-all proceeds will be donated to Push for Change. Emergency services players and high school boys and girls teams being intermingled for a full game with intermissions and activities. This will be one of the kickoffs for the schools talking about Push for Change. We are currently looking into what will be in place at that time for Hockey Day in Canada event that happens 2 weeks later. We are thinking a personal audio message from Joe Roberts would be great for this event-at this time, we don’t have access to a video screen at that location that could be seen by all in attendance. The other option would be for Joe to call in to the event and a designated student (s) can talk to him over PA system.

Share your promise! Encourage your friends to track your progress and make their own!
