Decorate a Shopping Cart Contest. Local High Schools and neighbouring Police Services paid entry fee per shopping cart $250.00. Carts are to be decorated, participants will vote for the best decorated cart. Teams to consist of 4 people who will run a relay type race while pushing their decorated cart. Top finishers werefeatured in the Brighton Applefest Parade that took place following the race. Donations are also to be accepted at a Community Policing booth that is set up. annually.
